I got involved with Global Teams because of their approach to missions. I love the freedom, creativity, and role of Scripture in developing a sound praxis to see the heart of Christ in the skin of every culture.

Before I was involved in Global Teams, my wife and I were involved in starting a non-geographical house church movement called Three Nails in Pittsburgh. We also have served in Mexico working with street kids and university students.

My family is awesome. Shannon and I have two boys, Caleb (4) and Nathanael (11 months). We love living in the mountains of North Carolina. In our free time, we go for walks in the woods, visit family, and hang out with friends. We also are starting a family coffee business where we roast and sell beans from 26 countries.

My specific area of responsibility in Global Teams is to develop a coaching ethos that includes member care, and everything else that goes along with coaching, mentoring, or spiritual direction.

In addition to Global Teams my ministry activities and interests are engaging the emerging culture and mentoring young men and women.

There are a number of ways to be more involved in this ministry.
